One of the most dangerous things in the world is not being able to say no to people because you don’t want to upset them or dissapoint them. This will completely ruin your life in every way possible, at work, in your private life, your sex life and your friendships. It’s a way of removing your own consent in your own decisions and go against your wishes, it is always a crime against yourself. Let yourself have a say. Upsetting people is better than traumatizing yourself.

Do you by chance know about any fics where the Lyoko Warriors fail to stop a massive XANA attack and have to live and deal with the consequences of it? Some of the things that XANA has done are terrorist/war level acts of violence, with the Lyoko Warriors being able to stop almost all of it. I'd be fascinated to see a breakdown on what it would look like if they failed and the consequences that followed but it doesn't seem like a topic anybody has ever tackled before.
I apologize, I not familiar with any myself. I never been the best with apocalyptic like settings in stories, so I might be blind to any that exist.
But if anyone knows some or has written any, please leave some recommendations!
Yeah I shared the video earlier after I watched the whole thing. I think the title of this post is a bit misleading - it sounds like Sophie and Jérôme are working on a pitch for a new series and have been in talks with the rights holders, but it hasn’t been greenlit or financed, so it isn’t “in production” (being made) yet. These two writers certainly have some intention of producing a new series, but we don’t have confirmation that it will actually come to fruition. So it could be something to look forward to, but I’m not getting my hopes up too high at this point.
Still, it’s interesting news! I think there are a lot of good stories they could tell using modern technology, I’m interested to hear what they come up with.
The full interview is worth a watch if you have the time, some of it is in English.
